The MacArthur (formerly Park Plaza Hotel)

PBS provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Alarm, and Fire Protection Engineering Services Design for Light Housekeeping Guest Room (Quantity of 41, Level 5 to Level 11 of approximately 47,500 square feet), and MEP system design for Levels 1 and 2 Kitchen. (Level 1 Kitchen: 4,700 square feet, Level 2 Kitchen is approximately 1,000 square feet). A Standalone HVAC serving the Gymnasium and Handball court of approximately 7,800 square feet was also provided as well as a Central Plant refurbishment/replacement and refurbishment of the existing AHU. PBS revised the smoke control exhaust and makeup air system per revised rational analysis and included the new smoke control panel and mechanical test panel design under the city of Los Angeles high-rise ordinance. A complete design of a fire alarm system was also provided.
