Greg Shah

Founder

Mr. Shah earned his BS in Electrical Engineering in 1968 from Gujarat University. In 1969 he left his family and moved to America to continue his education and to begin his career. He received his master’s degree from Youngstown State University in 1971 and soon began working for a small firm outside of New York City.

His career then took him to Chicago, IL and eventually to Southern California. In May of 1976 he began working for Parsons Corporation in Pasadena, CA as a Project Electrical Engineer. He then spent time with US Borax before taking a chance on a small engineering firm in Ontario, CA. He joined TMAD Engineers in 1981. At that time they were a team of 15 engineers working out of small office. During his 20+ years with TMAD he worked his way to President/CEO and built the company to over 200+ employees with revenues of over $24 Million.

Mr. Shah was a brilliant engineering mind and an entrepreneur at heart. In 2003 he left TMAD and started PBS Engineers. His goal was to create a client-focused company that would excel through its personalized service. Today PBS Engineers employs over 80 people, all with a commitment to his ideals of providing the best customer experience in the industry.

In addition to his personal pursuits, Mr. Shah took pride in developing the next generation of engineers. Over his four-decade career, Mr. Shah sponsored, employed and trained countless young engineers from all over the world. Many of whom have grown within the company or have started their own practice.

Mr. Shah passed away Friday, June 14th, 2013. He was 65 years old.

In 2020, Cory achieved the prestigious honor of being inducted into the American Society of Plumbing Design (ASPE) College of Fellows—an accolade reserved for the highest echelons of the association. 

His repertoire extends beyond design, encompassing a spectrum of services such as design review, value engineering, code compliance, field support, construction administration, and effective troubleshooting. Notably, he has also contributed his skills to projects commissioned by the Department of Defense and the Department of Transportation.

Cory’s wealth of experience further encompasses the intricacies of designing facilities subject to scrutiny and approval from multiple agencies. Through close collaboration with these entities, he ensures seamless communication throughout the development of contract documents, their submission for review, and ongoing engagement during construction administration, diligently meeting all stipulated requirements.

Crisaldo Alberto

Crisaldo Alberto has over thirty-five years of experience in electrical engineering design and construction. He has extensive experience in the electrical analysis and design development of numerous electrical systems for aviation, commercial and residential buildings, industrial buildings, tenant improvement projects (restaurants, offices, and retail shops), government facilities, educational (K-12 and higher education), healthcare, transportation, and correctional institutional complexes. His responsibilities include electrical design and supervision, assessment and evaluation of existing electrical building conditions, specification, construction observation, construction administration and review of all aspects of electrical engineering and design.

Crisaldo’s experience includes design and development of electrical power systems, lighting systems, load calculations, Title 24 calculation, Comcheck, ASHRAE and communication systems. He performs construction activities such as construction meetings and pre-walks, and project coordination with architects, government agencies, and other engineering consultants. 

Crisaldo is highly proficient in electrical engineering design using REVIT MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Microsoft program (word & excel), and Bluebeam Studio.

David Willingham has over seven years of experience in design engineering and construction, designing a comprehensive range of mechanical systems, such as heating, ventilating, and air conditioning, as well as plumbing systems. David’s additional responsibilities include the research and application of building, plumbing, and fire protection codes to develop design criteria, scope, and construction documentation.

He also has experience in preliminary design, construction documentation, calculations, equipment document review, and punch list observations. He has significant expertise in educational, commercial, residential and office design, facility surveys and assessments.

David’s experience lies with the design of various facilities, where the projects are required to be reviewed and approved by the various agencies. Working in close coordination with these agencies, he communicates with them throughout the development of the contract documents, submission for their review, during construction administration, and meeting all their requirements.

Noteworthy among Jatin’s recent accomplishments is his pivotal role in ongoing projects, including the electrical engineering design for the LAX APM Station and Core, LAX Terminal 7 and 8 (United Airlines) electrical infrastructure renovation within a major terminal overhaul, and the LAX Terminal 2 and 3 Redevelopment initiative.

Notably, he recently led the project management efforts for the electrical infrastructure renovation of LAX Terminal 7 (United Airlines) as part of a major terminal overhaul. Additionally, he successfully managed the construction of a new hangar and maintenance facility for United Airlines.

Presently, Lou is at the helm of construction administration for a groundbreaking structure at Tom Bradley International and Terminal 5.5. His ongoing contributions underscore his dedication to delivering high-quality solutions in the field of electrical engineering and project management.

His expertise extends to the design of lighting systems, both normal and emergency power systems, and communication systems such as audio/video conferencing, intercoms, corrective clocks, GPS wireless synchronized clocks, closed-circuit television, security/intrusion systems, public address systems, mass notification systems, fire alarms (manual and automatic), nurse call/code blue systems, patient tracking systems, school communications (education technology), and various other signal communication systems.
