We are building on the strength of our people and regional relationships so PBS can support evolving project needs and new opportunities across the country.”

Local Presence. National Reach. One PBS Team.

A project’s location shapes its needs. The people who will use a building, the systems that support its operations, and the requirements of its jurisdiction all deserve careful attention. For clients planning a single facility or managing projects across several states, the right engineering partner brings both a connection to the region and the expertise to see the larger picture.

At PBS Engineers, our regional offices help us deliver that combination. From Seattle and Santa Clara to Houston, San Diego, and Orange County, we connect local relationships with the capabilities of one collaborative firm. Our engineers hold professional licenses in states across the country, supporting our ability to serve clients beyond our office locations. Together, our regional presence, licensed expertise, and shared experience make PBS a national engineering services partner ready to support projects across the United States.

Our Los Angeles area headquarters in San Dimas provides the foundation that connects all of our locations. It anchors our shared commitment to service, collaboration, and technical quality, while each regional office builds relationships within the communities it serves. Together, our headquarters and regional teams bring local perspective and firmwide expertise to every client partnership.

Regional Connections, Shared Expertise

Our Seattle office builds on PBS’s established relationships and project work in the Pacific Northwest. Opened in 2026, it strengthens our connection to Washington and the surrounding region, where our experience includes aviation, healthcare, education, and infrastructure. Having a presence in Seattle creates more opportunities to work closely with existing partners, develop new relationships, and connect regional priorities with expertise from across PBS.

Farther south, our Santa Clara office provides a connection to the Bay Area. For clients in Northern California, it offers a local point of engagement backed by the broader firm. The value is straightforward: a conversation that starts in Santa Clara can draw on experience and technical perspectives from colleagues throughout PBS. Each client’s project determines the expertise needed, and our team coordinates across locations to bring that expertise together.

That same approach extends to Houston, connecting our Texas presence with PBS’s collective capabilities. Our work with MD Anderson Cancer Center illustrates the depth of our healthcare experience in the state. PBS has provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services for MD Anderson projects, including emergency generator fuel-system upgrades and pharmacy improvements. These assignments involve systems that support critical operations, demonstrating the practical responsibilities behind our engineering work and the importance of coordination with other project partners.

In San Diego, our regional presence connects with experience in infrastructure that serves the community and its visitors. For San Diego International Airport’s Terminal 1 replacement, PBS provided MEP engineering for the airline operations build-out. This defined scope within a larger airport program demonstrates how our team contributes specialized expertise while working alongside other participants toward a shared project goal.

Our Orange County office in Costa Mesa brings another perspective to the same team. PBS’s regional portfolio includes the Christian Dior boutique at South Coast Plaza, where we provided MEP engineering and fire protection and fire alarm device performance specification services. Retail environments require attention to how building systems support the architectural vision and the use of the space. That experience contributes to the knowledge our colleagues can draw on throughout PBS Engineers.

These locations connect PBS to different communities and project environments. Their common strength is access to one another.

Collaboration That Serves the Client

Our team members work on a variety of projects and consistently coordinate across offices. Experience gained in one region becomes part of the knowledge available to the wider team. Colleagues bring different technical perspectives to a challenge, share what they have learned, and work together around the needs of the assignment.

For clients, this means access to expertise that extends beyond the nearest office. A relationship established with one regional team opens a connection to the broader PBS organization. For clients pursuing projects in multiple markets, that creates a foundation for continuity as their needs and locations change.

“When our teams share knowledge across offices, we bring more experience to each design decision and a deeper understanding of what our clients need. Our regional presence also helps us build relationships and reach new partners, bringing the full capabilities of PBS into those conversations,” says Prital Patel, Vice President and Design Director.

Our portfolio spans transportation, healthcare, education, civic and community facilities, retail and hospitality, sports and entertainment, industrial, commercial, and government projects. Across those sectors, our services include mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, fire protection, technology integration, commissioning, and energy-related design and analysis. The combination gives our team a broad understanding of how building systems interact and how engineering decisions affect the people who depend on them.

Ready for What Comes Next

As clients plan new facilities, improve existing buildings, or expand into another market, they need partners who can grow with them. PBS’s regional offices and professional licensure across the country support that ambition, while our collaborative approach keeps the focus on each project’s specific needs.

“As we look to the future, we see an opportunity to grow alongside our clients and help shape the communities they serve. We are building on the strength of our people and regional relationships so PBS can support evolving project needs and new opportunities across the country,” says Kunal Shah, President and CEO.

Our commitment to Providing WOW Through Service begins with listening, understanding the assignment, and bringing the right people into the conversation. Wherever your next project takes you, let’s discuss how PBS can support it with regional connections, licensed expertise, and the strength of one coordinated team.
