PBS provided MEP engineering to support the transition of x-ray film mammograms to digital mammograms at West Los Angeles, Culver Marina, and Inglewood facilities. A digital mammogram differs from a film mammogram in that it uses a special detector to capture and convert x-ray energy into a digital image. This project consisted of electrical provisions for a new security system based on drawings developed by On Line Consulting Services for multiple Kaiser Permanent Medical Centers. The scope of work included coordination with On Line drawings, which included providing conduit and box infrastructure for new cameras in the garage level, and conduit stubs into the accessible ceilings for cameras, motion sensors, alarm panels, and other security devices which require electrical provisions. PBS Engineers coordinated all electrical designs with the security consultant’s drawings for multiple Kaiser Permanente Medical Centers.
