Security Screening Check Point (SSCP) - LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AVIATION
Terminals 1-3 and 7

PBS provided engineering design to facilitate immediate changes required by TSA (including CAPPS II security requirements and select screening) for LAX Security Screening Check Points at Terminals 1- 3 and 7.  The primary modification was the addition of checkpoint lanes for improved passenger flow and enhanced screening, as well to accommodate Whole Body Imaging Scanners.  Construction in this area involved the reconfiguration of existing MEP lines and the installation of new power for lighting, fire alarm, paging, voice, data, and security system.  PBS also provided complete design for a new Fiber Optic Infrastructure Loop throughout LAX.
